Nia Collins, ASID
Principal, Interior Designer & Residential Home Designer
Nia formed Collins Group Design, Inc. in1991 to merge the disciplines of custom home design and interior design in one agency.  She provides creative vision, client interaction, and project overview services on every Collins Group Design project. 
Nia’s client’s remark on her ability to create custom designs that provide exceptional solutions uniquely suited to their lifestyle and personality.  Her talent at finding and creating luxury products and designing homes perfectly suited to her clients make each project a reflection of its owner.   
She is a long-standing member of the Seattle design community.  Her work has appeared in numerous national, regional, and local publications, and she is a frequent speaker on interior design topics for both the trade and consumers.
Nia was chosen to represent Seattle Design Center through its prestigious Studio Designer program and has been with the group since 1997.  She is also a featured remodeling professional on HomeSavvi.com, a home remodeling website with informative articles, professional advice, and other resources.
She served as President of the Washington State Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) from 1999 to 2000 and on the organization’s Board of Directors from 1998 to 1999.  Currently, Nia serves as the Communications Director of the local ASID Chapter. 
Nia was selected by the Seattle Interiors Show to create a room vignette and participate in a “Meet the Designer” experience in 2001 and 2002.  In 2007, she served as a judge on the Kitsap County “Parade of Homes”, and in 1999, Nia was asked to serve as a judge for both the Seattle Homes and Lifestyles’ Home of the Year and Seattle Design Center’s Design Awards Competition.  That same year, Nia created a “Penthouse Showcase” for Urban Lifestyle, a joint collaboration between Seattle Design Center and the Concord Condominiums. Recently in March of 2010 Nia was the headliner feature at the Tacoma Home Remolding Show where she was asked to create a room of inspiration for the public to view.

Emily Wold
Residential and Interior Designer

Emily brings expertise in architectural design, drafting, and project management to Collins Group Design, Inc. She has been with the firm since 2005. Prior to joining Collins Group Design, Emily honed her skills in the residential architecture arena. Since 2005, she has focused on both residential design and commercial architectural projects. Emily was drawn to the design industry because of her love for creating spaces and her passion for seeing the emotional feelings created in a built arena. She enjoys working as a team with design professionals and clients to bring a space from concept to drawing to reality. She is certified through the National Council for Interior Design Qualifications (NCIDQ) and is a member of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA). Emily graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture.
Tina Rebsamen
Interior Designer

Tina has been an Interior Designer with Collins Group Design, Inc. since 2004. After building her own residence from the ground up, Tina decided to enter the interior design field. Her personal experiences give her a unique perspective in relating with clients – and helping them navigate the process smoothly. Tina worked as a buyer for a retail establishment prior to becoming an Interior Designer. Her experience with purchasing and management helped her acquire the special skill set required for an Interior Designer seeking the best custom furniture, accessory, and fabric selections for clients. She enjoys working with Collins Group Design’s team to develop original furniture, fabric, and accessory items. Along with being part of the design team, Tina is also responsible for the company’s procurement department and oversees product orders, deliveries, installations, and management of the many workrooms the firm employs. Tina graduated with an Associate’s Degree in Interior Design from Clover Park Technical College.
Allison Riddle
Interior Designer and CAD Drafter

Since 2006, Allison has worked as an Interior Designer and CAD Drafter for Collins Group Design, Inc. In this role, she uses computer programs to produce architectural and interior drawings along with 3D images to help communicate the design solutions and ideas that are created for each client. Her talents allow clients to visualize completely how the design process will work. A detail-oriented person, Allison has always wanted to be an Interior Designer. She especially enjoys focusing on residential home remodels and their associated drawings. Allison has a particular passion for creating in a team environment and seeing a project to completion. She has a great understanding of the building methods used in remodeling projects and loves the creativity these projects bring. Allison graduated with an Associate’s Degree in Interior Design from Clover Park Technical College.
